An interactive Frida Kahlo themed pop up is coming to London

Design your own Frida Kahlo-inspired headdress at this new pop-up!

To celebrate the soon launching art exhibition at the V&A, Frida Kahlo: Making Her Self Up, Grosvenor is launching a Frida-inspired pop-up called Frida’s Parlour.

Once inside, the space is designed to look like her childhood home, the iconic Casa Azul. Which is now a museum of her work in Mexico City.

The pop-up will run a range of workshops, including flower arranging, floral headdress making and floral cocktail-making.

Once you’ve made your headdress, there’s the Wallpaper Room – a room inspired by the floral backdrop in Nickolas Muray’s iconic photo, Frida Kahlo on The Bench. The floor, furniture, walls and ceiling will all be covered in wallpaper, perfect for that Insta snap!

The pop-up, runs from May 19 to June 16. Entry to Frida’s Parlour and Wallpaper Room is free with the workshops starting from around £20.

Visit the pop up at 141 Ebury St, Belgravia, London SW1W 9QW
