Visit the Lola James Harper candle pop-up in Islington

French lifestyle brand Lola James Harper is popping up in Islington!

The brand is setting up a multi-sensory pop-up this spring in Islington’s Paper Mache Tiger.

The plant-covered space will sell Lola James Harper’s scented candles, room sprays inspired by particular places (like The Vinyl Store Rue des Dames) and eau de toilettes.

The brand is growing in mass popularity, after Selfridges dedicated a section on their ground floor to the brand, which is their first permanent UK space.

Produced by perfumer-in-chief Rami Mekdachi, who has previously cooked up fragrant offerings for Colette, Coste, Roger Vivier and Chloé, these “personal potions” are the first eaux de toilette from the brand he set up in 2013.

They’ll also be a travel photography exhibition on show, and a chill out sofa area with ping pong tables and a coffee machine.

The Lola James Harper Pop-Up is in 26 Cross Street, London N1 2BG, running from Apr 26 – May 15.

You bring the rum, I'll bring the raspberries. Perfect daiquiris all round.
