Oslo in Hackney offers a modern twist on the classic roast with live blues acoustic sessions to compliment their good grub at their ‘Hus Av Blues’ event on Sundays.
You can pick from roast rump of beef or roast half chicken served with roast potatoes cooked in goose fat, parsnips, Yorkshire pudding, kale, carrots and gravy. Their roast is served from 12pm with music kicking off at 6pm.

If you’re a superfan of the roast, this is for you. Yes, a BOTTOMLESS Sunday roast with a ‘never-ending menu’ of starters and desserts at a buffet service, with a table Sunday roast service. Oh, and there’s the option of adding bottomless Prosecco too.
There’s rotating roast options change weekly, with Josper-roasted cod with parmentier potatoes, Thanet Cauliflower and broccoli lentil dhal, Josper-grilled corn-fed chicken and roast sirloin of Gloucestershire beef.
It all kicks off from 12pm to 3.30pm at £28pp for three courses or £40pp including unlimited Prosecco.

Mark Hix’s Hixter in Southwark know how to do a roast properly.
There’s a choice of chicken or beef, with chicken coming as a half complete with stuffing, whilst the beef arrives as a large slab of sirloin. For sides there’s fluffy roast potatoes, large, fill your boots, Yorkshires and a mini-jug of gravy.
You can dig into their Sunday roast 11:30am – 10:00pm.

Oblix at The Shard
If you want a roast with a view, then head to The Shard! Oblix offer the classic Sunday Roast with some fancy twists including suckling pig, chicken with truffle, rib of beef and rotisserie duck with all the trimmings
Served 32 floors up, you can choose from sides including beef-fat roast potatoes or horseradish mashed potatoes with spring onion and chives, as well as roasted vegetables like creamed spinach and gruyere, butter roasted cauliflower and crispy capers.
Open 12pm to 2.45pm from £32 per person.

Let the Italians take you for roast dinner! This twist on the classic in Mayfair brings slow roasted black pig belly with pickled vegetables and black pudding. You can even upgrade to veal Milanese for two for £33pp.
There’s also a classic set lunch menu with antipasti, free-range roasted chicken with olive oil mash and stewed fine beans, aubergine parmegiana or pan-fried Cornish squid with Tuscan pappa al pomodoro and dolci for £32.50.
