Queens: Skate-Dine-Bowl is back with cocktail bar, super cool diner and retro arcade
We all love a bit of bowling! Whether with a bunch of friends or as a date night, it’s a great alternative to just a meal for two.
The legends of bowling in London are back. Queens: Skate-Dine-Bowl has been around since the 1930s, but has been given a makeover and is now re-opened to visit!
The family run spot has stood the test of time, enjoying thousands of visits over its 85 year history. Now, it has an all-new interior and a diner for foodies. Oh, and now includes a ping-pong stud, air-hockey suite and retro arcade parlour. YES!
Located between Bayswater and Queensway, the spot has upped its game for 2017, with a gorgeous new interior, food which is far more than a greasy hot dog and chips, plus cocktails and pop ups.
The 45,000 sq/ft space includes 12 up-to-the-minute bowling lanes, an ice rink, and two bars.
As part of the revamp, the venue has launched Jimmy’s Diner – a collaboration with well-known pop-up restauranteur, food writer, author and chef Jimmy Garcia.
There’s of course a range of diners classics, like burgers, hot dogs, sticky back back ribs and mac’n’cheese. Plus some new more upmarket options, perfect for that special date night. It’s the perfect way to finish off your victory, or defeat in the lanes.
Of course there’s also their skating rink! Central London’s only skating rink open all year round.
Their strict climate-controlled environment guarantees superior-quality ice across our jumbo 9,000 ft2 rink. Plus, since the renovations they’ve stripped-back decades of old plasterwork to reveal original period roof beams, now festooned with climbing plants and all-new lighting.
And they’re running a number of special deals throughout January to reel in new customers! This week (Janaury 9th) they’re offering 25% off everything, to help you avoid the rush and as a little pick me up after THAT tube strike.
Queens is at 17 Queensway, W2 4PQ. Free entry with £7.50-£8.95 for a session of bowling.
