Bubbledogs are hosting a huge hot dog challenge for Action Against Hunger and Red Cross

Bubbledogs are pitching up at Borough Market to host a hot dog challenge with all profits going to Action Against Hunger and Red Cross.

To celebrate bubbledogs’ 5th birthday, Sandia is throwing down the gauntlet again to some of the UK’s finest chefs to compete for the title of top dog in their annual Hot Dog Challenge.

Battling it out on the night will be Jonny Lake & Matt Larcombe from The Fat Duck, two Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge, Shaun Searley from the Quality Chop House, Magnus Reid of Legs and Tomos Parry former head chef of Kitty Fisher’s.

There’s also Shake Shack’s Mark Rosati, Bonny Porter of Balls & Corpany and Kitchen Table’s own James Knappett all hoping to take the hot dog crown.

A panel of discerning judges will put their creations to the test in a blind tasting with the winning hot dog then making a month-long guest appearance on the bubbledogs menu, with £1 of each dog sold donated equally to Action Against Hunger and Red Cross.

There’s also lots of fun to be had by going along and helping with the judging, where you will be invited to sip on Champagne and have the chance to taste each entry for the Hot Dog Challenge in canapé form.

All profits from the evening will be donated to Action Against Hunger and Red Cross.

Tickets are £35 per person and includes 1 x glass of champagne, taste of every chefs’ entered hot dog and canapés throughout the evening.
