Have a burger with a jug of gravy from Nanny Bill’s at Birthdays in Dalston

Fancy pouring a jug of gravy over your cheese burger?

Nanny Bill’s is back. After closing shop in Shoreditch for the summer they’ve now taken up a residence at Birthdays in Dalston.

They’re famed for ‘burgers and balls’, with proper take away greasy burgers and croquettes.

On the burger side there’s a great selection with the Dalston Dip; a double cheese burger with caramelised onions, cheese and burger sauce served with a jug of gravy, or The Hot Mess; buttermilk chicken, bacon, hot sauce and gherkin relish two favourites.

The balls are pretty good too, with the Pea, Mint and Feta ones served with sriracha mayo, there’s also the Mac and Cheese, with Parmesan and hot sauce.

As well as the burgers there’s also Halloumi nuggets, fried buttermilk chicken strips, panko onion rings, and a selection of fries!

And there’s vegan burgers, with the Garden and The Lulu, and even a vegan sriracha sauce.

The burgers are all hand pressed, and you’re looking for proper ‘junk food’, it’s a spot you have to visit…

Birthdays is a strictly 18+ venue so make sure you fit the bill before trying to get in!
