Camden Town Brewery’s new Strawberry Hells Forever is helping to support urban farming!
Get drinking to give something back!
To celebrate the launch of Camden Town Brewery’s summer lager, Strawberry Hells Forever, they’ve partnered with GrowUp Community Farms, a London social enterprise, who are championing sustainable urban farming to grow the freshest ingredients right in our city.
Donating 20p from every can sold, they’ll support GrowUp and their mission to spread the word about the huge benefits urban farming has to offer in an urban space such as London.
Camden has also built the UK’s first brewery-based urban vertical farm at their Enfield brew house allowing them to grow our very own crop of urban strawberries for future brewing of Strawberry Hells Forever.
Not only does this improve the sustainable footprint by reducing the need for transport and packaging, as well as reducing the amount of food wastage associated with fresh produce, they are able to brew the FRESHEST strawberries, straight from the plant.
Available to buy from Monday 16th June, the crisp, tart, and full-bodied lager brewed with British strawberries is the ultimate sip of summer.
With a can designed by Bodil Jane, their Seasonal Design Collaborator, the beer is the first of their ‘Seasonal Hells’ batches for 2019, Strawberry Hells Forever will be followed by a collection of brand-new beers inspired by Autumn, Winter and Spring, all designed by the Dutch Artist.
Available at Sainsbury’s nationwide from Monday 16th June in single or 4-pack 330ml cans for £2 RRP per can. Camden’s “New Beer Thursday” will mark the official launch of Strawberry Hells Forever on Thursday 13th June at Camden Town Brewery, North London.
