Dine in a Land Rover at Mac & Wild’s Christmas experience!
Scottish legends Mac & Wild are doing things a little bit differently this Christmas!
They’ve teamed up with Highland Park Whisky to bring the wildest private dining experience to London this festive season, with the launch of their Land Rover Private Dining Gun Bus.
Parked up outside Mac & Wild Devonshire Square just in time for Christmas, this off-roading adventure vehicle has been transformed into a festive private dining space, with twinkling lights and dishes to delight including Santa’s Scotch Eggand Mac & Wild’s show-stopping Christmas Burger.
The converted gun bus once used for ferrying hunters and beaters around Scotland’s largest sporting estates, is a celebration of Highland adventures, making it the perfect festive feasting space, without having to step foot out of the Square Mile.
Belting up for this wild winter adventure, guests should prepare to be transported to the heather moor of Scotland as Mac & Wild cooks up a festive feast, served in the back of the Land Rover. Decked out in festive festoon lighting, winter pines and plenty of fur blankets, guests can choose from a three-course Christmas set menu or Mac & Wild’s A la Carte menu for their Highland adventure.
Begin with wee starters including Santa’s Scotch Egg, with Cranberry Ketchup & Pine Salt or Balvenie Smoked Salmon with whipped Butter, Lemon on fresh Sourdough, before tucking into the real showstoppers; Mac & Wild’s Christmas Burger with Pork Stuffing, Venison Patty, Melted Morangie Brie, Red Cabbage, Shredded Sprout Tops and Festive Fries or a full festive feast of Roast Turkey and all the trimmings, including Sausage Meat Stuffing, Rosemary Roast Tatties, Sprouts, Chantenay Carrots, Honey Parsnips and lashings of Bone Marrow Gravy.
Finishing with a sweet treat, guests will be able to choose from a classic Whisky Sticky Toffee Pudding, with a Highland Park Whisky Caramel sauce and Mackies Milk Ice- Cream or a Valrhona Chocolate & Clementine Pot, with Buttery Shortbread soldiers.
Seated in the back of the converted Land Rover, this one-of-a-kind private dining experience will transform any occasion into an off-road adventure and the monthly Highland Park Supper Clubwill take guests on a wild journey every month.
Kicking off with a St Andrew’s Day Special on Saturday 30th November, guests will be treated to dishes including West Coast Scallops with fresh Coriander, Garlic, Lemon or Venison Tartare, with wild Venison, burnt Red Peppers, Brown Butter Mayo and Croutes. Celebrate Scotland’s National Day with the nation’s finest Macduff aged Rib-eye steak, Charred Baby Gem Salad, Crispy Tatties and a Bone Marrow Gravy, all washed down with a dram or two of Highland Park Whisky.
