F-Valentines off with Anti-Valentine’s Tiki cocktails at The Beachcomber

Valentines Day isn’t for everyone. Why not shout how much you hate it in style.

Much-loved underground Tiki bar The Beachcomber will shake things up with an array of limited edition exotic Anti-Valentine’s cocktails available all next week, promising a welcoming retreat for anyone looking to escape the classic romantic celebrations.

The specially-created cocktails at the cult-favourite late-night Tiki lounge in Baywater will include the refreshing “Blank Slate” high-ball featuring Beefeater Gin, almond orgeat, guanabana juice, tonic water and Absinthe; and the vibrant “Shut up and Kiss Me” coupette with Ron Abuelo Anejo, apricot Brandy, Galliano liqueur, Creole bitters, home-made lemon sherbet and egg white.

There will also be a potent “Lovers Zombie” served in a skull glass for two to share, combining Meyers Jamaican rum, Clement Agricole rhum, Goslings 151, Falernum liqueur, lime juice, grenadine, grapefruit and cinnamon syrup.

Passionate champions of specialist Agricole rhums, The Beachcomber’s unique cocktails are perfectly paired with “Creole Kitchen” cookbook author Vanessa Bolosier’s popup menu of bar bites reflecting her sunshine-filled flavours of the Caribbean.

The Beachcomber’s Anti-Valentine’s cocktails will be available until late every night from Monday 13th to Sunday 19th February.

Visit their underground Tiki bar at 86 Queensway, London, W2 3RR.
