Feeling thirsty? Try some of these make-at-home cocktails this Mother’s Day

We all need a drink after this week…

It hasn’t been easy with many job losses and our iconic London food and drink scene taking a hit in more ways than one.

But, we all need space to relax, especially if working from home.

So why not try something new?

Here’s two cocktails with ingredients and method below, perfect for making at home! Or why not make for mum this weekend?

5 to 7 by St James Bar Sofitel

When-not-in-Rome, the 5 to 7 celebrates the sacred Italian concept of Aperitivo. With Campari-infused coffee, Amaro Montenegro and pink grapefruit soda, this cocktail will give your Mum a delicious taste of La Dolce Vita.

10ml Amaro Montenegro, 20ml Campari infused coffee, 45ml Antica Formula, Top up with pink grapefruit soda, Garnish: Twist lemon & twist orange

Method: Stir all the ingredients with ice and strain them into a chilled glass. Top up with Three Cents pink grapefruit soda. For the Campari coffee, infuse 1 Campari bottle with 20 coffee beans for 24 hours and strain it.

The Crave Buster by Amplify

Aimed at mums-to-be, The Crave Buster combines the salty flavour of pickle brine with apple juice, helping to hit the spot when it comes to commonly craved acidic and salty flavours during pregnancy.

The brine works with the apple juice to provide sweet and savoury flavours whilst incorporating a whole host of vitamins to promote healthy eating and drinking too.

50ml Amplify, 12.5ml Pickle Juice, 10ml Lime Juice, 60ml Apple Juice, 15ml Sugar Syrup

Method: Add Amplify, Pickle juice, lime juice, apple juice and sugar syrup with ice in a cocktail shaker and shake hard to combine. Strain and add into a glass filled with ice and top with soda. Garnish with a pickle. Imagery of the cocktails here
