Fentimans’ is launching a campaign to Save The Botanicals this Earth Day!

Have you heard about the campaign to Save The Botanicals?

From the ginger root, yarrow and speedwell that form the basis of Fentimans’ beverages to the citrus, florals and spices that add flavour, Fentimans relies on sustainable botanicals to create its spirits and mixers.

This Earth Day (22nd April) Fentimans has worked with wild plant conservation charity Plantlife to compile a list of some of the most endangered plants in Britain today and to raise awareness of their dwindling numbers.

Fentimans’ campaign comes with a special botanical menu which will be available over the Easter bank holiday weekend at two London bars: Heads + Tails and Mr Fogg’s Gin Parlour.

Working with top bartenders from around the country they have designed a special cocktail menu with each drink inspired by and named after ten of these rare indigenous plants including the Ghost Orchid, Spreading Bellflower and Cotswolds Pennycress.

Each unique cocktail will be served with a small packet of meadow flower seeds for drinkers to sow in their own private gardens or in local community plots. The Save the Botanicals cocktail menu will be launched across top bars in the UK – including Mr Fogg’s Gin Parlour and Heads + Tails – over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend (19th – 22nd April).

Fentimans’ Save the Botanicals menu for Earth Day hopes to help to raise the visibility of these wild plants, helping the general public to identify them when out walking in the countryside as well as offering tips on how to protect them.

You bring the rum, I'll bring the raspberries. Perfect daiquiris all round.
