London’s first vegan diner is launching new vegan shake bar!
London ’s first vegan diner is celebrating it’s 1 year anniversary with a bigger site and new vegan shake bar!
Since opening as London’s 1st 100% vegan diner in April 2018, entrepreneurs Matthew Foster and Ruth Mumma mark 1st anniversary with new, bigger site within Camden Market’s North Yard.
At 650 sq meters, the new, 45 cover site will be three times the size of the original Rudy’s Dirty Vegan Diner. Still located within London’s iconic market, the expansion adds to the ongoing revitalisation of the Market’s North Yard, and will be complete with new vegan shake bar.
With extended open hours from 11am – 10pm, seven days a week, those looking to visit after work or on weekend evenings, will now be able to drop in or book for dinner from 7pm.
There will also be the addition of a new private dining area which will seat 12, and be available for group bookings, ideal for those looking for a vegan destination to celebration a birthday party or special occasion.
The diner’s new indulgent vegan shake bar promises to appeal to everyone’s inner child, serving vegan freak-shakes made using vegan ice-cream and oat milk. The menu will feature instagrammable serves such as Rainbow Unicorn (Skittles, candy floss, bubblegum syrup, rainbow pops, fizzy rainbow strips and iced Party Rings) as well as Rudy’s Childhood Memories (chocolate & peanut butter, chocolate sugar wafer and peanuts) all priced at £6.00.
The food menu will continue to offer all the original Rudy’s Dirty Vegan Diner American fast food favourites. From Rudy’s Reuben (a vegan pastrami grilled rye sandwich with all the trimmings – sauerkraut, cream cheeze, grilled onions and Russian dressing) to Rudy’s Dirty Burger and Rudy’s Mac and Cheez to Spicy Vegan Buffalo Wings. Visitors can also expect to see some exciting new surprise additions.
All dishes will be prepared fresh to order, 100% vegan friendly and served in environmentally friendly, biodegradable plant plastic to take away or in a traditional diner sundae glass to eat in.
The new bigger diner continues the Market’s revitalisation of its North Yard and highlights the Market’s passion for nurturing small businesses and emerging talent.
Matthew Foster, Head Chef and co-founder said ‘We’re thrilled to be marking our 1st birthday with the opening of a new, bigger and better site. The response to our food has been incredible from visitors across all ages; be it loyal vegan locals, international visitors or non-vegans who come to us looking to experience something new.
Rudy’s Dirty Vegan Diner new site launches 20th May 2019 at North Yard, Camden Market, London, NW1 8AH, 11am-10pm daily.
