Eating out may be off the menu for the foreseeable, but to soften the blow, restaurants and chefs are offering their customers the chance to recreate their favourite dishes from the comfort of their homes.

Co-founder of The Athenian, Tim Vasilakis, will be live-streaming a cooking class via Instagram (@theathenianuk) this Saturday, 28th March, at 7pm, teaching viewers to make the Greek street food concept’s popular courgette fritters from home.

Determined their customers still be able to enjoy great Greek fare, The Athenian are also sharing their fritter recipe, attached, for anyone unable to tune in on Saturday.

Truly committed to transporting taste buds to the Meditteranean, The Athenian have also shared the recipe for their exquisitely flavoursome Greek Island Marinade. Working beautifully with chicken as well as veggie-friendly substitutes such as seitan, the marinade is a perfect way to jazz up quick weekday meals and summery salads.
