Marks & Spencer has launched a one hour food delivery in London

We love Marks & Spencer, it’s the perfect easy-dinner when you’re rushing around in London.

The tasty favourite has begun trialling a one hour food delivery service for Sparks loyalty members in London and Reading.

The first trial is based in Camden and offers home delivery in one and two hour slots within a three-mile radius.

A limited range of ready meals, such as Thai green curry and pizzas, are available in an hour, with the delivery time rising to two hours if shoppers want to add groceries to their baskets such as bread and milk.

With over 4,100 lines on the first trial – it’s bound to get customers clicking. The store in Woodley, Reading is a collection-only service with a two hour turnaround.

Both trials are only open to Sparks loyalty scheme members and apply to a minimum order of £10.

M&S has been selling a selection of party food and alcohol on its website for some time, but this is the first time its wider grocery range have been available online.

We just want to know when Percy Pigs will be available…

You bring the rum, I'll bring the raspberries. Perfect daiquiris all round.
