Good news… McDonald is returning to London Bridge two years after closing

Mmm… We’re loving this news!

Ever been out around London Bridge and then thought… I just really fancy a Big Mac? Well, in the good old days it was no issue with McDonald’s ready to serve.

The fast food giant had a restaurant within Guy’s Hospital (we know!?), just opposite The Shard between 1992 and 2016 when that branch closed to make way for the Science Gallery London attraction which opens this autumn.

But, there’s light at the end of the tunnel… As a BRAND NEW restaurant will be opening on the corner of Tooley Street and Stainer Street.

However, since closing rival burger joints have swooped in including Honest Burger, plus a soon to open Patty & Bun. So will it still be a popular nightspot?

The new McDonalds will open within the railway arch previously occupied by The Cooperage bar on Tooley Street.
