Daawat, meaning ‘Indian Feast,’ brings the feast to the Strand Palace Hotel, London.

Traditional sandwiches are replaced by a Kolhapuri wrap which is made up of chicken, roasted Rajasthani spices and bell peppers.

There’s also a Mumbai Burger, brioche bun, spicy potato filing coated with gram flour and Chatpata Paneer roll, crispy filo pastry stuffed with Chatpata Paneer.

The rich and exotic tea also offers traditional Indian cakes and fancies dazzle with Rasmalai, mango and pistachio burfi, Kaju Katli and Motichoor Ladoo.

Award-winning Keralan head chef Asharaff Valappil was recognised as Curry Life’s Best Chef 2016, so you know you’re getting an authentic taste.

For something stronger, Daawat offers an impressive bar stock including ice-cool Indian beers, fine world wines and an eclectic mix of fruity cocktails, too.

The afternoon tea is £29.95 per person, and is available 7 days a week.
