OPIHR Gin are launching a sensory spice experience with the chance to win free drinks!
The UK’s no.1 premium spiced gin brand OPIHR is debuting three new expressions at Cocktail Week!
The brand will be bringing its spirit of adventure to London Cocktail Week with a new sensory spice experience.
It’ll celebrate the rare ingredients of the OPIHR Regional Editions Collection, while the OPIHR bar will feature the original 1955 Cambridge Land Rover involved in the original expedition.
OPIHR is partnering with the spice mistress herself – British Iranian chef and author, Sabrina Ghayour – to host a sensory spice masterclass at 7pm on Thursday 10th October, exploring spice as the new frontier for gin.
The class will uncover how the new and next flavour combinations have been inspired by emerging world food trends, from the rare Black Lemons to Szechuan peppercorns and cascarilla bark.
Guests will have the chance to enjoy cocktails based on the regions that inspired each of OPIHR’S new Regional Editions, as Sabrina takes the group on an adventure along the ancient spice route showcasing the intriguing history of spices and her top predictions for 2020’s must-try flavours.
Along with the masterclasses, guests will be invited to choose from a specially curated menu of signature OPIHR cocktails, offering intriguing flavour combinations, such as OPIHR Original Spiced Gin & Ginger cocktail, the delectable Spiced Daiquiri, the delicious Spiced Negroni, and the wonderfully aromatic Eastern Smoke &Mirrors.
Leading bartender and recent winner of OPIHR’s 2019 Global Cocktail Competition, Lewis McKenzie, will also be attending serving OPIHR cocktail creations to guests throughout the week.
What’s more, cocktail lovers will have the chance to win complimentary serves throughout London Cocktail Week. Simply solve the ancient riddle at the bar to enjoy a free signature OPIHR cocktail from the menu.
