Take your pallet to India this Christmas with Horn OK Please’s authentic vegetarian pop up
Streetfood trader Horn OK Please are returning to the Southbank Centre’s Winter Market, promising to keep visitors warm with their authentic Indian dishes.
If you’re already sick of cranberry sandwiches, and pigs in blankets, this might be just the treat you’re looking for.
Now open along the Southbank until early January, Horn OK Please’s wooden chalet at the Winter Festival’s Market allows customers to enjoy vibrant vegetarian Indian streetfood whilst taking in the views and atmosphere of London ’s famous Southbank at Christmas time.
You may recognise the company from their weekly stall at Borough Market and the Southbank Centre Food Market, however they’re bringing some special for Christmas.
The menu for Horn OK Please’s festive stall features limited edition street bites alongside customer favourites.
Their special Egg Kati Roll Indian omelette wrapped in a fluffy paratha flatbread is ideal as a comforting all-day breakfast, and their renowned Moong Dal Dosa lentil pancake stuffed with crushed masala potato and crispy sev guarantees a filling and healthy meal.
Those looking for a hot drink to sip whilst strolling through the Winter Festival’s can enjoy a rich Masala Chai tea with its delicate spicing of ginger and cardamom.
Since their launch in 2011, Horn OK Please have earned a reputation as one of London’s most well-respected, genuine and consistent streetfood traders.
The team’s freshly-prepared streetfood dishes are always vegetarian, and mostly vegan and gluten-free, showcasing contemporary recipes from right across India.
Available daily until 8th January from mid-morning right through to late night, Horn OK Please’s streetfood dishes will come served with a generous helping of their homemade tangy date & tamarind chutney plus refreshing mint & coriander chutney, and can be accompanied by irresistible Masala Fries too, which… sound pretty irresistible!
The Southbank Centre’s Winter Market is open now, until early January 2017.
