The John Lewis rooftop is back with a festival theme for summer!

One of the largest roof gardens in the city is back for summer!

From 19th April until 29th September the John Lewis & Partners Oxford Street store’s roof will be transformed into a festival themed spot with food, drinks and music!

Have all the fun of a festival without the mud, with live musical performances, masterclasses and cinema screenings all propping up on the roof.

During the bank holiday weekend they’ll be singer, songwriter and producer Femme on Saturday 20th April, with different performances, DJ sets and festival themed makeovers through the weekend and throughout the summer.

There will be DJ sets taking over the roof every Friday and live entertainment on Saturdays and Sundays to keep you in the summer festival mood all weekend!

For food, they’ll be Bong Bong’s Manila Kanteen for a range of delicious Filipino family recipes. They’re stars of BBC’s My Million Pound Menu, so expect Crispy Fragrant Pork Belly, Adobo Glazed Chicken, Grilled Aubergine Satay Curry and Asian Roots Salad.

And if you’re not the kind of person who makes reservations they’ll be running ‘Walk-in Wednesdays’ where you can turn up and dig in!

If you’re looking for a group booking, you can book one of their dens for 4 to 10 people with the Boho, Garden and Cherry Blossom Dens as well as the Caravan Stage, there’s a style to suit everyone.

And of course you’ll need a drink in hand while enjoying all that singing and eating… Try out their Background Bars, with cocktails including the Summer of Love (£10.50) with Beefeater Gin, Elderflower, Lemon, Cucumber and Fentimans Soda.

There’s also Chilli Margaritas, Pyramid Spritzs and the signature Roof Fest London cocktails (£10) made with Havana 3yo rum, Banana Liquor, tangy passion fruit and mint. Yum!
