The Scotch Egg Challenge is back in London with a huge host of contestants!

Get ready for an eggstra exciting event coming this February!

The Scotch Egg Challenge is back in London with a huge host of chefs serving up their finest scotch eggs.

This year, it’ll be held at The Canonbury pub in Islington with food writer Joe Warwick hosting.

The judging panel includes The Guardian’s Bob Granleese and Felicity Cloake, foodie Lisa Markwell and Restaurant magazine head Stefan Chomka.

Expect samples too as contestants include Temper’s Neil Rankin, Holborn Dining Room’s Calum Franklin, The Dairy’s/Counter Culture’s Robin Gill, Smoking Goat’s Ben Chapman, Nanban’s Tim Anderson, Rambla’s Victor Garvey and 2017 winner Gina Hopkins plus many more.

Attendance is free but there will be an online charity auction for VIP tickets soon so stay tuned.

The Scotch Egg Challenge takes place at the The Canonbury pub in Islington, 21 Canonbury Pl, London N1 2NS on Wednesday February 21st.
