Tuck into the wild with a gin themed food and cocktail menu at Carousel
Get ready for London Cocktail Week! with The Botanist Gin’s Wild Dinner!
It’ll see top chef and director of Hunter Gather Cook Nick Weston create an innovative five-course menu served at Carousel, from 1st-5th October 2019.
Gin lovers and wild food enthusiasts alike are invited to enjoy this series of special Wild Dinners hosted by The Botanist Gin at Carousel.
The evenings will include a five-course culinary tour of wild and seasonal UK produce created by Nick Weston of Hunter Gather Cook, along with perfectly paired foraged The Botanist cocktails crafted by Abigail Clephane, The Botanist Gin’s UK brand ambassador.
Locally sourced ingredients always taste better, reconnecting us to a traditional way of life that is currently at risk of being lost – and Nick Weston’s Hunter Gather Cook at the forefront of this foraging movement.
Nick will be working alongside the Carousel team, at their award-winning Marylebone restaurant and creative hub.
Famed for its carefully curated guest chef residencies, Carousel shares Nick’s philosophy on what eating out should be all about: amazing cooking, friendly service and a shared experience from one table to the next.
The menu will reflect a celebration of game, featuring the best in wild and foraged food that the UK has to offer, including Douglas fir cold smoked fallow deer, grilled wood pigeon breast, and blow torched pheasant, and perfectly paired cocktails including the long and fizzy Fig Leaf, a peachy and tannic Nettle Gimlet and an earthy Truffle Martini.
The Botanist Gin’s Wild Dinner at Carousel is open from Tuesday 1st – Saturday 5th of October, with the bar open at 7pm and a dinner start of 7.45pm.
Tickets are available here to buy and cost £49.50 per person, which include a The Botanist welcome drink and digestif.
