Walkers is thanking the nation for 70 years with limited edition special crisps!

Walkers is giving a special thank you to the nation as it marks its 70th anniversary!

Since Leicester butcher Henry Walker first took the humble potato and created Walkers crisps back in 1948, it has become Britain’s favourite crisp brand.

To say ‘thank you’ to the Great British public for its inspiration over the past 70 years, Walkers has launched ‘Flavours of the Decades’, six new limited-edition flavours influenced by the UK’s favourite dishes of years gone by.

The six-strong line-up includes a flavour for each decade from the 50’s to the 2000’s.

For the 1950’s Walkers are launching the classic Coronation Chicken flavour, while for the swinging 60’s there’s the ever popular Roast Lamb & Mint. The disco decade includes a dinner party favourite, the 70’s Cheese Fondue, and there’s a touch of spice for the 80’s with Chicken Tikka Masala. BBQ Rib is the choice for the 90’s, and for the most recent decade, the 00’s, there’s the tongue-tingling Sweet Chilli.

The limited edition special anniversary crisp are available from Sunday 18th March. Available in single (RRP 0.65p) and multipacks (RRP £1.50 – £4).
