Wear a crown and eat for free at Brasserie Zédel
On 8th January, Brasserie Zédel will once again be celebrating Epiphany with a free meal!
Customers sporting a regal crown (or even better, fully dressed in royal garb) will receive a delicious three course meal with wine and coffee absolutely free at the Parisian brasserie in Piccadilly Circus. What’s the catch, you ask? There isn’t one (except wearing the crown). They’re celebrating Epiphany which is the twelfth day of Christmas and rounds off the festive period. Brassserie Zédel are celebrating on the first Sunday of 2017, January 8th.
Epiphany is also known as Three Kings Day, and is often celebrated with a big feast and, as the name suggests, marks the day the Kings – Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar – visited the baby Jesus in Bethlehem. Hence the crowns.
The menu includes a starter of Céleri Rémoulade, Bœuf Bourguignon or Truite de Mer Grillée for mains, and Ile Flottante for dessert.
If you want to get involved you must book in with them for between 11.30am and 10.30pm. It has become a very popular tradition at the restaurant and due to high demand they are only accepting telephone reservations. You can call them on 020 7734 4888.
