YO! has removed all it’s labels to celebrate Pride in London

YO! is getting rid of labels…

The Japanese street food and sushi restaurant has announced the removal of all labels from its High Street Kensington restaurant front, website and social media platforms as part of its ‘No Labels. Just Pride.’ campaign celebrating Pride in London and the LGBTQ+ community.

In response to recent research by Pride in London #PrideMatters revealing that the LGBTQ+ community feel ‘over-labelled’ YO! has taken down the external logos and labels from its High Street Kensington restaurant, as well as across digital channels on YO!’s website and social media.

As a partner of Pride in London, YO! will also be participating in this Saturday’s Pride parade and across Pride in London month, YO! will offer seven different coloured plates for £20, and £1 from each purchase will be donated to the UK Pride Organisers Network (UKPON).

The offer is available in a selection of London restaurants until 8th July 2018* before rolling out across the UK in other Pride cities.
