An immersive Thunderbirds theatre experience is coming to London

A new interactive theatrical experience is coming!

Thunderbirds: Beyond the Horizon will premiere in London this winter and for all those fans of the childhood classic, you won’t want to miss this…

Based on the TV series by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson featuring the International Rescue group, the immersive experience will be hosted at a new, purpose-built venue called The Buzz in Elephant and Castle.

Audiences will be tasked with tackling a cyber attack, saving the Tracy brothers and stopping The Hood from creating a catastrophe.

The Buzz at Mercato Metropolitano, London will be the base for the brand new activation, becoming the first-ever purpose-built venue for immersive and interactive events. The new space has been created in collaboration with ITV Studios with ticket prices ranging from £23.50 to £58.00.

Richard Lewis from Limelight Productions said: “Three years ago, I began a journey with ITV which will culminate this autumn in the opportunity to experience the world of International Rescue. Having watched the original series as a boy the iconic countdown, ‘5-4–3–2–1… Thunderbirds are Go!’ is enough to make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

“My ambition has always been to have our audience experience the visceral feeling of being rescued by a Thunderbird. It’s not an easy task, so much so that we have had to build our own venue in London to do so.”

Thunderbirds: Beyond the Horizon opens on 7 November.
