Flat Iron Square is hosting a DOG takeover with dog show, free health checks and screening of Isle of Dogs!

A canine-themed takeover is barking it’s way to Flat Iron Square’s sprawling garden and onsite bar Apres!

It includes a dog show, a dog friendly screening of Isle of Dogs and dog health checks.

The event on Monday 26th August is FREE to attend with the dog show, ‘The ReX Factor’ including a £5 entry per category and there is a suggested £5 donation for the Isle Of Dogs screening, with all proceeds going to the charity StreetVet.

Categories in the dog show include ‘Craziest Cross’ ‘Baddest Bitch’ and ‘Best Doggy Styler’ with some great prizes up for grabs.

Charity partner Street Vet are also offering dog health checks on the day in exchange for donations.

As well as plenty of keg stations and water bowls around the square, the event promises to keep your trusted companion cool in more ways than one. Pet pampering options include Paw Parazzi workshops to capture your pooch’s best side on camera or perhaps you’d prefer to commission a mini Pawtrait from talented Brighton artist and illustrator Lorna Wheele.

Treat your dog with one to one attention and choose from classic dog games such as, ‘Musical Sit’ , ‘Catch The Treat’ and ‘Tennis Ball & Cup’

The afternoon will be rounded off with an Al fresco (and dog friendly) screening of Wes Anderson’s doggy delight Isle of Dogs at 5pm.

‘Dog Days Of Summer’ comes to Flat Iron Square, SE1 1RU on Monday 26th August 2019.
