Gett and Citymapper are launching a new London Black Bus service…

Citymapper and Gett are inventing a brand new type of London bus…

But, it’s not a normal route… Citymapper has used data collected through millions of journeys to work out where there’s holes in the London transport setup, and so… Gett Together was born!

The new service, named BB1, will run between Highbury & Islington and Waterloo, with Gett claiming it will be 60% faster on fixed routes than a bus.

The north-south line will open on September 25 and run through Angel, Farringdon and Aldwych, with a journey between Upper Street and Somerset House takes an average of 40 minutes on existing public transport. On the Gett Together route, it’s anticipated this will drop to 15 minutes… Awesome!

Gett Together launched its service in London in December 2016 after Uber launched it’s own ‘Pool’ service. But the partnership with Citymapper is really using data right. It’s combining what us Londoners already do and creating a solution.
