John Lewis has opened it’s winter rooftop with pies, cocktails and ice skating!

The John Lewis winter rooftop is open on Oxford Street, and you can expect gin, pies and skating!

From 20th October until the 6th of January you can escape the hustle and bustle of the famous London shops to skate on their Sipsmith rink and keep warm with hot gin and freshly baked pies.

Teaming up with MyPie, formed in 2014 by school friends Chris Brumby and Jim Carnegie, you can expect high quality pies with classic flavours.

There’s, beef, chicken, veggie, special Sipsmith venison pie plus a Gluten free braised lamb shoulder “Shepherd’s” Pie!

And for £8 per person you can top off the perfect winter day out with a leisurely skate on the Sipsmith rink. Set against a spectacular London backdrop, it’s festive fun at its best.

Sides on offer including sausage rolls and scotch eggs with winter warming desserts such as sticky toffee and ginger pudding with ginger ice cream.

Of course, with the sponsor being Sipsmith there’s a lot of gin on offer. Dabble into their hot gin and tonic, hot mulled sloe gin plus hot gin and ginger.

John Lewis’ rooftop runs Sunday – Wednesday 12 – 9pm with last entry 8pm and Thursday – Saturday 12 – 11pm, with last entry 10pm.
