London is getting a travelling cinema pop-up this summer!
Grab a blanket and escape the sofa for a movie night!
Free Range Film Club is set to tour the capital’s premier parks and green spaces with a series of intimate cinema pop-ups.
Capacities will be strictly limited allowing film fans to enjoy an evening under the stars in allocated spaces, safely socially distanced from other groups but close enough to share the experience.
The series will open in July and run through to September, visiting all four corners of the city. Best of all, the balmy nights can be enjoyed entirely alfresco with not a car in sight.
Venues will be in the heart of communities allowing film fans to walk or cycle to their neighbourhood screenings. Each will host multi-night runs of cult classics, feel good faves and indie gems. Adding to the relaxed atmosphere movie goers can enjoy bespoke street food, BBQ and crafty bar tipples delivered direct to their spaces.
Pre-registration is now open at freerangeclub.co.uk with the first locations and screenings set to be announced shortly. Due to the bijou format ticket availability will be strictly limited.
Free Range Film Club is organised by the creators of Winterville, London’s much-loved alternative winter destination, and the Oval Night Market and Jiang! night markets. Plans are also afoot for a stand-up comedy edition of the Free Range Club concept with more news expected soon.
