London ’s indoor rainforest is now open for a trip on Saturdays!

The free to visit Barbican Conservatory will now be open for longer and on Saturday’s they’ll be a pop up bar.

The glass-covered rainforest in the heart of the City is the second biggest conservatory in London, after Kew Gardens‘ Princess of Wales Conservatory.

With their new Saturday opening hours you can now visit all week long, and until 10pm they’ll be a pop up bar to keep you hydrated… just like the plants.

There’s a reason to visit the Barbican Conservatory on Sunday too, and they now do an afternoon tea.

Expect baked ham with spiced pear and ginger chutney, passionfruit macaroons, and coffee and mascarpone eclairs.

Visit Barbican Conservatory, Level 3, Barbican Centre, Silk Street, EC2Y 8DS.
