London boy Belal becomes star of new British Airways’ Christmas film with trip to New York!

Ten year-old Londoner, Belal is the star of an incredible Christmas film!

It’s all in aid of giving four very deserving British children the magical trip of a lifetime, and let them star in their own real movie trailer.

Belal is a ten-year old boy from London who lived in Grenfell Walk at the base of the Grenfell Tower at the time of the devastating fire in June 2017.

He and his family were some of the first people to witness the events unfolding that night and tragically lost some of their friends that night, and their home which they have never been able to go back to.

British Airways whisked four deserving children away for a once-in-a-lifetime festive weekend in New York City

The children were able to ‘live like Kevin’ through their exciting experiences which were inspired to follow in the footsteps of one of the world’s most famous child stars in a much-loved Christmas film, Home Alone 2.

The trip included a VIP flight, a stay at the world-renowned Plaza hotel and surprises delivered by a selection of popular celebrity faces including Pixie Lott, Harry Maguire, Maya Jama, Jodie Whittaker, Millie Bobby Brown and Jon Culshaw as President Trump.

The trip marks the start of the BA Magic 100 project, which will see 100 acts of kindness performed by the airline in its Centenary year, 2019.
