5 top tracks to add to your playlists this week

However you’re feeling, there’s a lot of new music hitting the dancefloors (err) this week.

We’ve picked some of our favourite tracks from our experiences this week, and what we’ve been up to.

Take a listen, relax, unwind and enjoy! If you have any suggestions for our playlists we’d love to hear them too, comment below with your ideas and favourite songs at the moment.

1. Beyoncé – Freedom

Beyoncé graced us at Wembley Stadium last weekend, and since then we can’t get her out of our heads.

Personally, her performing Freedom was one of the best moments of the show, with her B stage dropping and filling with water, whilst she splashed and danced around. Beyoncé’s album ‘Lemonade’ is out now, and streaming on Tidal.

2. Zara Larsson – Lush Life

The Sweedish sensation Zara Larsson has finally put out a proper music video for her hit Lush Life as she tries to crack American.

The video features all the superstar traits, with dress changes, lots of cute locations and dancers. It’s an instant hit, and very catchy. She also opened for Beyoncé on her London dates.

3. Bastille – Good Grief

The boys from Bastille are finally back and putting some new music out. The video which accompanies the new track is a little trippy with some female nudity and violence. Worth a watch.

Bastille have been pretty vocal around the EU Ref debate, changing the lyrics of their song Pompeii during their Glastonbury set to “and then pound kept tumbling down in the country that we love.” Ohh-err.

4. Clean Bandit feat. Louisa Johnson – Tears

Another long burner. This track just doesn’t go away.

The X Factor winner Lousia Johnson has teamed up with chart toppers Clean Bandit to create the summer banger of 2016. Apparently, they first wanted Ariana Grande to feature on it. Can you imagine? Anyway.

5. Adele – Send My Love (To Your New Lover)

Capital FM are currently playing some weird reggae version of Adele’s new single. Either way, it’s worth a listen and watch. Unlike some of Adele’s other singles, she’s actually stuck a video out for Send My Love, and it features a lot of Adeles!

Her set at Glastonbury was the total highlight of the weekend for us, and proved how powerful her voice is.
