A Blue Moon pop up bar with FREE beer is coming to London
The number one craft beer in the US is bringing its Once in a Blue Moon interactive art installation to East London!
Blue Moon, a popular favourite at bars and pubs across London will be poping up at Old Spitalfields Market alongside a giant orange crate bar.
The installation has been inspired by the beer’s unique story. First brewed from the Colorado Rockies’ baseball stadium in Denver, the assistant brewer remarked that “a beer this good only comes around once in a blue moon”.
To celebrate the ‘blue moon’ moment Keith Villa, the beer brand’s head brewmaster and founder, had when he created the beer, Londoners are being encouraged to dream big and add their wish to the growing installation.
The wishing tree will feature hanging oranges and an array of light, sound, orange scents and textures to celebrate Blue Moon moments and the beer’s perfect serve of a full moon orange slice garnish.
Plus, the first 100 people each day to visit the Blue Moon bar at Old Spitalfields Market and make a wish on the Once in a Blue Moon wishing tree will receive a token for a half pint of Blue Moon, redeemable at the orange crate bar.
Following the London launch at Old Spitalfields Market, the installation will be visiting Manchester’s Blue Dot festival in July and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August.
Blue Moon is available in bars and pubs throughout the UK. Blue Moon can be found in supermarkets nationwide.
You can visit and have your wish granted at Old Spitalfields Market, London. Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th June 2017, 12:00 – 22:00.
