Bluebird Café in Television Centre is celebrating the return of Strictly Come Dancing with cocktails

Strictly Come Dancing is back on our screens this month!

And to celebrate Bluebird Café in White City is celebrating its return by launching a cocktail menu based on the different ballroom dances performed on the show.

Available from the 21st September until the 14th December, the cocktails, including the Foxtrot and Charleston, have been garnished using glitter and feathers to represent the colourful costumes seen on the show.

Fellow White City neighbours, Strictly Come Dancing is returning to the BBC on the 21st September and Bluebird Café will be honouring it with drinks set to make Londoner’s waltz into the evening.

The talented barmen at Bluebird Café have created a menu to cha-cha the night away. Guests can choose between the Foxtrot of gin, matcha tea, fig liquor, Grappa Nardini Bianca, honey syrup, lemon zest topped with a citrus foam, dried fig and a blue feather; Tango made with Cachaca Avua Riva, passion fruit liquor, lemon juice, spicy cola jam, pineapple juice, egg white and a splash of Chandon and rose essence topped with glitter spray.

There’s also the Paso Double with vodka, Olorosso sherry, strawberry and peach lactofermented, grenadine syrup and soda decorated with a giant edible flower and cocoa dust rim, and the Charleston of gosling rum, banana liquor, whole milk infused with black cardamom fat wash, sweet vermouth, vanilla sugar and Angostura bitters accessorised with a white ribbon and black feather.
