Camden Town Brewery is giving away 90,000 FREE beers to Brits this weekend
Camden Town Brewery is getting ready to give away thousands of free beers to the nation after we found out one in three Brits missed having a beer with mates more than anything else during lockdown.
Thirsty beer lovers just need to tune into the world’s first ‘drinkable’ telly ad and scan the QR codes on screen with their phone camera to be in with a chance of winning cans of fresh, never pasteurized Camden Hells Lager. We’ll deliver either a 6, 12 or 24 pack of Hells direct to your door to crack open and share a (socially distanced) beer with friends once again.
First aired earlier this week, we launched the world’s first TV ad you can (kind of) drink, and it turns out Brits love beer SO much that thousands of cans of Hells were redeemed within minutes.
With over 20,000 people taking part in the interactive TV campaign on the first night alone, we’re giving the nation what they want and will be doubling the amount of free beer being given away. That means we’ll be sending out 90,000 free cans and bottles of fresh Camden Hells Lager.
You can catch the TV ad on BT Sport during the Champion’s League Semi-Finals on 18th and 19th August, the Champion’s League Final on 23rd August and on Channel 4 during the weekends of 21st – 23rd August and 28th – 30th August.
The free beer giveaway is our latest lockdown initiative to give back to all the lager lovers out there. Earlier this year, we supported Hospitality Action with our virtual pub, we donated to NHS charities with our ‘Camden Heroes’ Lager and provided support to our beloved pubs with the limited-edition ‘To The Pub’ American Pale Ale.
