Covent Garden is hosting a huge ice cream festival with Aperol Spritz, Avocado and Banoffee Pie flavoured ice cream!

Covent Garden will be celebrating the last Summer Bank Holiday with a festival celebrating all things frozen!

Taking place from 24th until 26th August in the Covent Garden Piazza, you can expect an incredible array of sweet treats on offer, including over 50 flavours of ice cream from avocado soft serves to granitas to many more summertime favourites and frozen cocktails.

Stop by and try some of the delicious and colourful scoops, cones and tubs from the area’s most exciting and innovative establishments.

To mark the celebrations, Covent Garden has partnered with Morelli’s to create a series of six bespoke ice cream flavours to celebrate the area’s heritage as a fruit and vegetable market.

The gelateria will take a delicious twist on fruits and vegetables once sold in the iconic Covent Garden Market. As well as selling new flavours such as Aperol Spritz, Praline, Chocolate Velvet and Banoffee Pie.

Exclusive to the Covent Garden Cool Down ice cream festival, some of the area’s favourite bars and eateries will be coming out to the Piazza and selling one-off, delicious offerings.

Avobar will be offering a limited edition Avo Soft Serve and adding a French twist to the festival, Laduree will be bringing their infamous cart offering Macaron Glacé, already coined as the ultimate macaron ice cream sandwich.

Also in the Piazza, Buns and Buns will be serving up an amazing selection of flavourful ice cream sticks and Petersham Nurseries will be serving the quintessentially British strawberry ice creams made from organic Haye Farm strawberries.
