Ferrero Rocher hits London with a new pop-up dessert store

You can’t beat a Ferrero Rocher. Yes, they might be a Christmas staple in 2016, but there’s still something quite special about biting into one.

And it’s about to get even better! Dolce by Ferrero Rocher is launching a pop-up dessert destination in the heart of London in Covent Garden for 10 days from 1st December.

The first London dining experience of its kind by Ferrero Rocher will explore the layers of the chocolate, offering dessert lovers the chance to rediscover Ferrero Rocher and its unique combination of tastes and textures.

Guests to the pop up will be taken on a journey celebrating what makes Ferrero Rocher so special, according to the guys behind the new launch!

Guests will enjoy an exclusive tasting plate of five beautiful, mini hand-crafted desserts, curated by celebrated chef Paul Hannagen – owner, director and head chef at Cuisson, the luxury gastronomy company.

After the five mini desserts, the tasting experience will end with a Ferrero Rocher (taking centre stage on the plate) to demonstrate how the elements of a whole hazelnut; rich, smooth chocolate; crisp, wafer shell; and gently roasted hazelnut pieces – all wrapped in gold – come together to deliver its unique multi-sensorial taste.

The multi-layered dining experience features a cocoa-roasted whole hazelnut wrapped in light praline mousse (in celebration of the heart of Ferrero Rocher), a chocolate case brimming with silky ganache (inspired by Ferrero Rocher’s rich smooth chocolate layer) and wisps of soft spun sugar dusted with edible gold glitter (paying tribute to the elegant golden wrapper) – to name but a few.

How cool is that? It’s an piece by piece Ferrero Rocher!
