Celebrate the close of Soul of a Nation exhibition at Tate Modern with a massive party!

The weekend of 20th October is the last chance to see the amazing Soul of a Nation exhibition at Tate Modern!

In celebration, Tate Modern is hosting a 3-day ‘closing party’. A jam packed weekend of US craft beer, should food, should music and Hip Hop Karaoke.

Kicking off with a Tate Tap Takeover in collaboration with Brooklyn Brewery on Thursday 19th, the US, Soul theme will continue on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st with evenings of Brooklyn Beer and Hip Hop Karaoke!

The UK’s original Hip Hop Karaoke is a true London and national fixture and for the last decade DJ Rob Pursey, host Bobby Champagne Jr. and the HHK team have helped thousands of people live out their rap fantasies live on stage! HHK has become a hit at every major festival.

Vinyl obsessive, Hip-Hop, R&B & Soul DJ Rob Pursey says: “Hip Hop Karaoke is a euphoric, addictive experience and definitely something to cross off the bucket-list!”  Rob will be playing soul inspired by Soul of a Nation and drawing on his vast music knowledge to make for a closing party to remember.

The food offering will reflect the rest of the weekend with a selection of soul food including buttermilk fried chicken, corn slaw and creole fries.
