Covent Garden gets spooky for Halloween with a giant pumpkin

Covent Garden will transform into a spooktacular hub this Halloween!

From Wednesday 16th October to Sunday 3rd November, Covent Garden will celebrate Halloween across the estate with exclusive make-up masterclasses for beauty fans at Charlotte Tilbury to exclusive Halloween products from Laduree and Godiva, as well as devilish dishes and cocktails from London’s favourite restaurants including Balthazar and Buns & Buns.

Kicking off Halloween, a giant pumpkin weighing over 2000Ibs, will find its home in Covent Garden from Wednesday 16th October to their Halloween vision to life and create the ultimate installation, inspired by the fairy-tale of Cinderella and her pumpkin carriage.

The giant pumpkin will be displayed as an other-worldly carriage which will be surrounded by over 20 different types of British Grown plants including a selection of smaller pumpkins. Covent Garden invites visitors to stop by and capture their perfect picture moment.

Especially for Halloween, on Thursday 31st October, The Ivy Market Grill will welcome visitors into their haunted house. Diners should prepare for spooky surprises both inside and outside the restaurant, and look forward to delicious Halloween themed sweet treats, including the ‘Melting Witches Hat’ dessert, made up of a dark chocolate witches hat, mint mousse, vanilla ice cream, popping candy and caramel sauce!
